Designed specifically for Marshall’s MG Series, this cabinet is a perfect match for the MG100RCD, or any head or amp with a speaker extension jack. The MG412A is built to last and value-priced, giving you more for your money. Combined with the straight-front base cabinet, it makes a complete, full-sized stack.

Feature:
2 things it needs. #1-casters. It’s not very heavy but I installed wheels on it.#2-another input jack would have been nice, but it’s not too bad.
Quality:
Thick wood for being so lightweight. I plan on keeping mine for life. I’ve only done 1 gig so it’s to early to tell how it’ll hold up. It seems to be very sturdy for a $300 dollar cab.
Value:
I think it’s a great value compared to the ones built in England. Mine says “made in korea” but I’m not sure if they’re all made there.
Desirability:
It’s better than crate cabinets in my opinion. I was suprised a cab costing so little would sound so good.
Sound:
I think is sounds great! It was an upgrade from a crate 4×12. The crate rattled if I turned up the bass on my amp, this marshall doesn’t. I play hard rock/metal/classic rock and it covers it all. I did a gig with it and got many compliments on my sound. I’m running a 100 watt randall head thru this thing and it’s KILLER!! It could be that the people who use a combo with less than 50 watts may not get those speakers moving enough to get any decent tone.
Overall:
I may get the straight cab for a full stack.

Marshall’s exclusive, groundbreaking FDD circuitry plus 30 watts of power for killer tones. The MG30FX includes a 10 inch speaker, four switchable channels, and a 3-band EQ that lets you shape your tone. FDD (Frequency Dependent Damping) circuitry gives the MG4 Series the unbelievable depth of sound and unique feel of their legendary, all-tube amps. It does this by emulating the way an all-tube power amp interacts with the speaker(s) it is driving. Plus the easy to use panel controls include gain, followed by a three-band EQ, volume and Master Volume.

Feature:
All the features you want for all types of music. Didn’t get a footswitch but ordered one off zZounds for $29.99.
Quality:
Haven’t had it long but seems to be well built.
Value:
Compared to similar amps with the same features, I’d take this for the sound alone. It’s my first Marshall but won’t be my last.
Sound:
I’ve play on Peavey and Crate and as far as sound this beats them both especially the distortion is heavy and has alot of punch. Work the effects in and get hundreds of sound.
Ease of Use:
Simple to use.
Support:
Have not used any support.
Overall:
Never had a Marshall but this one was affordable and after playing it I’ll be buying Marshall. Great sound. You get thundering distortion.
Double the power of the feature loaded, versatile MG50DFX and you get the MG250DFX with its stereo, 50W + 50W, power amp driving 2×12 in. custom speakers – awesome!
